In my conversations with many young people, I found that the question that most concerns them is: Why don’t we apply what we know and what we learn? This question is the most important and pivotal question in the principle of developing and changing life for the better. We read many books, watch many videos, listen to recordings, attend conferences and seminars... etc., but in most cases we do not benefit from most of what we are exposed to except in what we know. But the question is why???

The problem is determined by a number of reasons, which are:   First: The enormous amount of information, knowledge, and influences that we are exposed to daily, and even hourly Second: Negative filtering, which is represented by our negative view of the topics we are exposed to, such as criticizing the repetition of a topic despite its importance in our lives. Third: Not following up and not continuing. The strategy of focusing and continuing to focus on a specific topic is missed by many of us     As for solving this problem and treating this disease, it consists of :  First: The power of repetition and focus on a specific topic is what makes the difference, and this is what advertising agencies follow by frequently exposing the public in general and those targeted to advertising material to promote a specific product or service, amounting to besiegement in order to achieve the principle of repetition and focus.  Second: Learn a little in large amounts, and this is what we learn from the mechanism of “fish breathing,” for which God Almighty created a system of precise monitoring and control that makes it take only what it needs from the water and thus does not drown. Therefore, focusing on a little information will benefit more from it. Of course, it is a lot of information, and this is also what advertising agencies rely on when using a “slogan for advertising campaigns,” so that it is a short, focused, attractive phrase that is easy to memorize. Third: Positive nomination, which is represented by a positive view of a topic, which makes us become more deeply and connected to it. Fourth: Follow what you have learned, that is, do not let it escape like aerosols scattered from the corners of your mind  Fifth: Look at what you have learned responsibly and deal with it and apply it before it becomes forgotten  Sixth: Share what you have learned with others. This will make you gain something that will develop what you have learned, consolidate it, and establish it within you.But be careful in checking and choosing well what you are exposed to and what you learn so that it changes you for the better.
